April 10-12, 2026

This spring, Metamorphosis Dance revives its original ballet Snow White, first premiered in 2018 and inspired by the Brothers Grimm classic. The story begins with a Queen who longs for a child and is blessed with a daughter “as white as snow, as red as blood, and with hair as black as ebony.” After the Queen’s passing, the King remarries a woman “beautiful, but proud and haughty,” who possesses a magic mirror. For years it assures her that she is the fairest of them all—until Snow White grows into a girl “as beautiful as the day, and more beautiful than the Queen herself.” Consumed with jealousy, the Queen resorts to desperate measures to remain the fairest in the land. Witness Snow White’s journey as she faces danger, overcomes adversity, and discovers her true strength in this timeless ballet.

Performances will be Friday, April 10 at 7:30pm; Saturday, April 11 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm.
